Introducing Bumballa Homestead, a harmonious blend of heritage and modernity. This intergenerational family home, nestled on a 600-hectare farm near Tallong, stands as a testament to timeless elegance and quality craftsmanship. Collaborating with R Squared Studios Architects and Gibraltar Constructions, Ettie Tom embarked on a journey to honour the historic 1860s convict-built cottage while seamlessly integrating contemporary comforts. Our approach was guided by a reverence for natural materials. Sandstone, recycled timber, and stone were carefully selected to echo the heritage of the original homestead, ensuring a seamless transition between old and new. The result? A sanctuary that radiates warmth and sophistication, inviting generations to come together in effortless harmony.

At Bumballa Homestead, every detail tells a story of heritage and craftsmanship, with each element speaking to the commitment to preserving the past while embracing the future. Our collaboration with the architect and builder exemplifies our shared dedication to excellence and integrity, ensuring that Ettie Tom’s timeless design vision was brought to life just as intended.
