This intergenerational family home, nestled on a 600-hectare farm near Tallong, stands as a testament to timeless elegance and quality craftsmanship. Collaborating with R Squared Studios Architects and Gibraltar Constructions, Ettie Tom embarked on a journey to honour the historic 1860s convict-built cottage while seamlessly integrating contemporary comforts. Our approach was guided by a reverence for natural materials. Sandstone, recycled timber, and stone were carefully selected to echo the heritage of the original homestead, ensuring a seamless transition between old and new. The result? A sanctuary that radiates warmth and sophistication, inviting generations to come together in effortless harmony.
